This Cru Beaujolais, made from the Gamay grapes, is irresistible and made by my friend, Alain Corcia. - Blake Leonard, Certified Sommelier Juliénas wines are earthy and weighty with a deep ruby red color with aromas of strawberry, violet, cinnamon, red currant and peony. The appellation sits in the far northwest of Beaujolais and due to the diverse terrain, Julienas wines are quite complex. Cru Beaujolais are some of the best valued wines in the world. This wine is well-made, balanced, food-friendly and just DELICIOUS!
Château-La-Dauphine Delphis Fronsac BottleFronsac is located right next to St. Emilion (where they make mega-pricey, sought-after wines.) My dad and I visited this winery this past summer. The vineyards are bio-dynamically farmed and all of their grapes are hand-picked. If someone at your dinner table likes Bordeaux, they’ll love this!
